I’ve been passively following the Idaho Murder case and was curious to what was not being published by the news concerning Bryan Kohberger. I decided to investigate by running a breach search.
First we need to gather up some details on Bryan to make sure we have the correct person.
- Approx 31yo (currently)
- Location: Pennsylvania
- Possibly bullied and then bullied others when younger
- Ph.D student at Washington State University studying criminal justice and criminology
- Frequented a bar in bar in Bethlehem, PA. Gave bad vibes
- Teaching assistant at Washington State University and had several drastic behavioral changes
There are so many more details, but I believe this is enough for now. Let’s jump into the breach search with his name and see what we can find.
Name search done to uncover yahoo email and then email search done.
The primary email seems to be wifiarmyowns@yahoo.com. I’m not going to show the passwords, but I will run those.
The password was very unique, so I’m not positive that nordor@live.com is for Bryan, but it’s likely.
The username produced is not very unique unfortunately. I ran it, but didn’t find anything new. As for the IP: 70.44.172.76, it’s likely residential, but listed other names not associated. I may publish that in the future if it appears to be related to Bryan.
We could continue to go down the rabbit hole, but I’d really like some other emails and user names to run. If you have any and can confirm them for Bryan, please reach out.
Jan 9, 2026 – Update
In July 2025, Bryan Kohberger accepted a guilty plea and is currently serving 4 consecutive life sentences in prison.
Due to court records confirming the wifiarmyowns email, I decided to take another stab at the breach search to see if anything interesting can be revealed.
I have been able to confirm the skywalker91 and nordor@live.com having a same exact password as the now confirmed wifiarmyowns email. Under the IP address 70.44.172.76, I also found more email and usernames. Given the IP matches and his DOB is: Nov 21, 1994, it’s likely the same person.
I ran the usernames, but couldn’t find anything verified for Bryan. I found some more accounts (wtfpwnage & xarriuhsddo), but nothing confirmed on those usernames either.
I found one more account – bryanchristopher1994@gmail.com. Given the name and associated DOB year, it’s likely the correct person.

I’ve had army personnel check and Kohberger was never in the army
any links to Brent Kopacka? do you reckon?
From the public court doc drops, the following are alleged emails for Bryan Kohberger:

I checked on the breach search and none of them were associated with any breaches, which means they weren’t widely used.
